Designer furniture – “Mutation Series” collection by the designer Maarten de Ceulaer
Furniture are no longer what they were. Man, has this feeling if it the work of Belgian designer Maarten De Ceulaer looks. It is thought they simply belong to a different world. Futuristic, experimental and yet practical and feasible. I personally am totally thrilled and introduce his works of art.
Designer furniture – futuristic look with workable function
In today’s article is the “mutation” collection in the spotlight. It consists of upholstered sofas, chairs with and without armrests and chairs. It is interesting, but look like pieces of furniture. In fact, they pose mutating cells. Bacteria, viruses and chemical reactions have inspired the designer for this project. It sounds somewhat obnoxious, but the result is amazing.
Does this piece of furniture down like a real Chair?
Each piece of furniture is padded Schaumstroff spheres of various sizes, which are used together and in this way make a construction. This is then covered with a durable rubber material that feels like velvet.

Every single piece of furniture has a unique shape that is unrepeatable. It is impossible to be created two same pieces of furniture. Unique shapes and vivid colors describe the beautiful design by Maarten De Ceulaer shortly, and I’m sure these exceptional pieces of furniture are great refresh every ambience.
