Build A Free Pool Yourself – Step-by-step Instructions

Build a pool only from natural materials? Yes, it may sound crazy, but our editorial team would like to introduce a DIY project that has been generating great interest among fans for weeks. Two men make a pool with bare hands using only sticks. This unique project costs 0 Euro and is built only from natural materials. In the next few points we would like to introduce a step-by-step guide.

Before and after. The pool was built only from natural materials.

The final result costs exactly 0 Euro. So let’s start with the DIY project!

1st step – The two men, who are slightly groomed, intend to build a pool of their own, which has an interesting structure. The pool is rectangular and should be built around the small underground house. They only dig with sticks and hands on a canal until the desired depth is reached.

Very purposeful and loaded with energy, the men start a great project

For hours, the construction workers dig only with hands and sticks

2nd step – After you have reached the depth of about 1.50 meters, dig the two men with a basket of mud from a pond. This material is used as cement for construction.

Making mud cement blocks out of a pond? That sounds interesting, right?

3rd step The mud cement is mixed with sand and blocks of this mixture are made using rectangular bamboo shapes. These shapes will later be used as tiles for the pool, but first the mud cement blocks should go through a drying process. The men accelerate this process with a home-made oven, where they put the individual blocks into the fire. The DIY oven can accommodate about 10 blocks. During the drying process, a large number of mud cement tiles are tinkered using bamboo box.

With the help of bamboo box, the individual blocks are formed

The bigger the fireplace, the more blocks. This speeds up the entire process.

4th step – After all the mud cement blocks are done, they are stacked on top of each other. These cement blocks will play an important role in the DIY project – as the walls and floor of the pool.

Blocks of mud and cement should be enough for the wall and floor design

The two men lay the blocks very carefully and precisely. The joints are also filled with mud.

5th step When the wall and floor design is done, the creative construction workers gather wood and bamboo and make a nice bridge over the pool. They lay grass on the remaining soil and start the next step.
